The dynamic lighting for Brazenthrone is finished.

With the rest of Brazenthrone taken care of, patrons using Roll20, Foundry or EncounterPlus will never have to draw wall segments for any part of the city ever again. And neither will I. THANK GOD.

Anyway, I’m going to start sketching out the next map. Here’s where to get the dynamic lighting stuff:

Roll20

Non-patrons can download the wall commands (which draw in the walls and doors using the UniversalVTTImporter script) from here. They’re in the ZIP file. Instructions are included.

Patrons can download all the commands from the patron content drive. Open the VTT folder, then the Roll20 Wall Commands folder.

Foundry

The public Brazenthrone module can be downloaded with this manifest URL.

The link for the patrons’ module can be found in the Table of Contents (pinned as the top post on my patreon page, visible to patrons only). If you already have the patrons’ module, you can just update it.

EncounterPlus

Download the public Brazenthrone module here.

The patrons’ Brazenthrone module is in the patron content drive. Open the VTT folder, then the EncounterPlus Modules folder.

  1. I absolutely love your work! I chose to use Brazenthrone in my Forgotten Realms 2nd edition campaign. I have a question for you: let’s say Brazenthrone (well “Earthfast”, in my Forgotten Realms campaign”) has been at war with orcs and goblins for centuries. Where would the baddies be most likely to attack? How would they do the most damage?

Thanks for your time, and thanks again for your wonderful work!

    1. Brazenthrone is really heavily fortified and attacking the main gate or the lower gate at the Underdark Trading Outpost would be suicidal. So where else can you enter from? Nowhere convenient, but you could potentially enter via the Bitterwash River, which runs through the city. This river starts on the surface, so you could potentially get in that way.

Aside from that, the Old Quarter has been falling apart and there are cracks that lead into other parts of the Underdark. Of course, the Old Quarter is sealed off, so that doesn’t necessarily get you into the city itself.

And finally, there’s a secret tunnel leading out of the city in the thieves’ guild, which is located in The Hollows. I don’t know where this leads, exactly, but no one outside the thieves’ guild knows it exists, so if the orcs found out about it, they could use it to catch the dwarves off guard.

Anyway, that’s what I can come up with off the top of my head. Hope it helps!

      1. That’s what I thought, not a whole lot of places to attack from.! The thief’s guild is a good idea! Thank you!
